HILLSVILLE — Dominic Collini rushed for 160 yards and a TD on just 13 carries, and Chase Fleeman scored two more touchdowns to lead Giles to a 33-13 win over Carroll County on Saturday, in a Three Rivers District game that was pushed back a day due to wet conditions on Friday night.

The Spartans (4-4, 2-2) also got a TD run from Logan Greenway, and quarterback Chaston Ratcliffe hit Jacoby Wilson on a 14-yard score.

The Cavaliers (2-5, 1-2) got first-half TD runs from quarterback Jacob Motley, and Brant Davidson, and trailed 20-13 at the half, but were outscored 13-0 in the second half.

Cassell McMillian rushed for 120 yards for Carroll County, which was outgained 355-258 by Giles.

ELLISTON — Wyatt Freeman passed for 143 yards, including a 75-yard TD throw to Chase Blaker, and also ran for a score to lead the Green Wave (6-1, 2-0 Pioneer District) over the Mustangs (2-5, 0-2).

Blaker finished with five catches for 131 yards for Narrows, and Matthew Morgan had 20 carries for 68 yards and a TD.

Eastern Montgomery quarterback Dylan Owens completed 14 of 31 pass attempts for 158 yards, but was also intercepted three times. Justin Tyree caught six passes for 90 yards for the Mustangs.

Channing Balser had 17 kills and two aces for Parry McCluer, and Chloe Persinger added 14 kills and two aces.
