One day after it was reported that Virginia's football program would be adding University of Richmond wide receiver Dejon Brissett, UVa reported the addition of a second graduate-transfer wide receiver.
The Cavaliers are adding 6-4, 195-pound Terrell Chatman from Arizona State, who played in 13 games over three seasons for the Sun Devils. He was part of an Arizona State recruiting class that included current UVa quarterback Bryce Perkins.
Chathman is from Louisiana, a state where Virginia has stepped up its recruiting efforts in recent years. He was rated the No. 30 receiver in the country by ESPN as a senior at Central High School in Baton Rogue.
Brissett was a first-team All-CAA selection for Richmond in 2017, finishing with 63 receptions for 896 yards and seven touchdowns; however, he suffered a knee injury that ended his season after three games. That qualified for a hardship ruling.
Bissett's hometown is listed as Mississauga, Ontario, but he played for Lake Forest Academy in Richmond, Illinois.
