Stout had four touchbacks on six kickoffs in Penn State’s 35-7 win over Purdue. He averaged 63 yards in a kick to help his team improve to 5-0. He did have one kick go out of bounds (his first of the season). Stout is tied for No. 2 in the country with 34 touchbacks this season.
Kalil Pimpleton, Central Michigan WR: Pimpleton had five catches for 112 yards with a touchdown in a 42-16 win over Eastern Michigan. He put CMU up 14-3 with an 80-yard touchdown from quarterback David Moore with 10:31 left in the first half. Pimpleton also ran the ball once for 19 yards. Pimpleton is tied for No. 8 in FBS with 40 catches.
Sean Savoy, Maryland WR: Savoy got his most playing time on offense of the season. He was targeted five times in the first half and came away with one catch for 5-yards. He finished the game with two catches for 17 yards in a 48-7 win over Rutgers.
Chris Cunningham, Old Dominion TE: Cunningham played, but didn’t record any statistics in a 20-3 loss to Western Kentucky.
Jarrett Hopple, USF OL: Hopple played, but didn’t record any statistics in a 48-22 win over Connecticut.
Eric Kumah, Old Dominion WR: Kumah (undisclosed injury) missed a second straight game in a 20-3 loss to Western Kentucky. Old Dominion’s only managed 11 first downs (two on penalties) and 160 total yards of offense.
Cam Goode, UCF DL: Goode didn’t play in UCF’s 27-24 loss to Cincinnati.
Darius Fullwood, William and Mary DL: Fullwood didn’t play in a 35-28 loss to Villanova.
D’Andre Plantin, North Texas OL: North Texas had an off week ahead of its game against Southern Miss on Oct. 12.
DuWayne Johnson, Syracuse DB: Syracuse had an off week ahead of its game on Thursday, Oct. 10 against North Carolina St.
