QUESENBERRY, Pearl Spivey September 15, 1920 - June 9, 2019 Pearl Spivey Quesenberry, 98, of Austinville, Va., passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Joan & Howard Woltz Hospice Home, Dobson, N.C. Mrs. Quesenberry was born September 15, 1920 in Carroll County, Va. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearlie and Rhoda Spivey; her husband, Gleeon L. Quesenberry; a son, G. Reed Quesenberry; a daughter-in-law, Brenda M. Quesenberry; and a grandson, Gregory Lynn Quesenberry. She is survived by a son, Gleeon Lee Quesenberry Jr. of Woodlawn, Va.; a daughter, Delite Fogg (David) of Austinville; granddaughters, Jennifer Bednarek (Cary) of Roanoke, Va.; Christie Quesenberry (Keith) of Salem, Va. and Anita Laurent (Bill) of Merrillan, Wis.; a grandson, John Dustin Fogg (Catherine) of Mechanicsville, Va.; a great-granddaughter, Alena Ray Laurent-Horvath (Dan) of Fairfax, Va.; and a great-great granddaughter, Zara Laurent-Horvath of Fairfax. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel, Hillsville with Elder Ronald Bowman and Elder Tim McGrady officiating. Burial will be in Monta Vista Memory Gardens, Galax. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019 at the Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pine Grove Primitive Baptist Church, Att: Barbara Harmon, 425 Rotenizer Rd., Austinville, Va. 24312 or to the Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, N.C. 27017. The family would like to give special thanks to Mrs. Queensberry's caregivers: Carol, Brenda, Amanda, Chelsea, Susan, Gwen, and Vicky.
