BRADSHAW Nancy K. February 19, 1932 June 8, 2019 Nancy K. Bradshaw, 87, of Ridgeway, Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 8, 2019. She was born February 19, 1932 to the late Charles Kitts and Stella Burton Kitts. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Bradshaw; sisters, Dorothy Bopp of Pulaski and June Leftwich of Bassett; and her son, John Bradshaw. She is survived by her son, Charles Bradshaw (Sherri); grandchildren, Ashlee Bradshaw (James), Michael Bradshaw (Crystal) and Johnathan Bradshaw (Elisha); and five great grandchildren, Nikole and Jordan Turner, Eli and Reagan Bradshaw and Rylee Beckett. She had numerous nieces and nephews and daughter-in-law Barbara Bradshaw. Mrs. Bradshaw was the first licensed woman electrical contractor in Virginia. She was a Master Gardner, past board chairman of Horsepasture Christian Church and a Sunday School teacher for her church for more than 30 years. Mrs. Bradshaw was the 2008 Jack Dalton Award recipient. She was an intricate part of the Ladies Auxiliary of Horsepasture Fire Department, SCORE, Eastern Star, Horsepasture Ruitan Club, American Heart Association and many other civic organizations. A funeral service will be held at Horsepasture Christian Church at 2 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2019 and will be officiated by the Reverend Dave Cuthbertson. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends two hour prior to the service and at other times at the home of Mrs. Bradshaw.
