HAGUE Robina Hutchinson Logan July 6, 1927 March 22, 2019 Robina Hutchinson Logan Hague passed away at the Premium Personal Care Home in Marietta, Georgia on Friday, March 22, 2019 of natural causes. Mrs. Hague was born to James Logan and Mary McDonald Steel Logan on July 6, 1927 in Cambridge, Mass. Robina Hague was raised and educated in Belfast, Northern Ireland. As an American citizen, she was active in the American Red Cross in Belfast during World War II. She returned to the United States after the war, where she met and married Richard Harry Hague in Waltham, Massachusetts. Mrs. Hague held various positions in retail in the Waltham area, as well as the Raytheon Corporation in Boston. She and her husband raised a family of five children in New England and Long Island, New York, during which time she was active with Episcopal Church organizations, the Huntington Symphony Guild, and the American Kennel Club. In 1984, Mrs. Hague and her husband retired to Roanoke, Virginia where she was an active member of the ECW, the Altar Guild at St. John's Episcopal Church, and the Roanoke Kennel Club. Robina Hague was a gifted amateur painter, and an avid reader with a particular interest in British history. She enjoyed traveling, particularly to Northern Ireland where she would visit various family members with whom she maintained close ties. She supported various children's charities, local police organizations, and Doctors Without Borders. Robina Hutchinson Logan Hague is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Allan James Logan (Ottawa, Canada). She is survived by two sisters, Jane Logan Russel and Margaret Logan Ayre, and five children, Melanie Hague (Frank Scala), Daydrie Hague (Dan La Rocque), Harrilie Van Wyen (David), Richard W. Hague and Robert Logan Hague (Cathy). Grandchildren, James Hague LaRocque (Mary Claire Walther), Logan Andrew Hague (Marilynn), Victoria Robina Van Wyen, Conor Hague LaRocque, Morgan Hague, Katherine Hague Rule (Trey). Mrs. Hague recently welcomed her first great grandchild, Owen Robert Hague. Mrs. Hague's Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Roanoke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Doctors Without Borders, your local Humane Society or St. John's Music Ministry.
