The truck driver who died Friday in an interstate wreck in Pulaski County was Nathan L. Berkley of Halifax, Virginia State Police said Monday.

Berkley, 57, was driving his tractor-trailer north on Interstate 81 Friday with a load of paper products when he crashed at mile marker 99, state police said.

His truck ran off the right side of the interstate and turned over. Berkley was not wearing a seat belt, police said.

In an initial report of the wreck, police said no other vehicles were involved in the crash.
