A Christiansburg man racked up 32 criminal charges in what police said was a month-long spree of vehicle break-ins.

And there may be more incidents that police have yet to learn about, according to a news release that Christiansburg officials issued this week.

Andrew James Salisbury, 32, is charged with six felony counts of grand larceny, 15 misdemeanor counts of petit larceny, 14 counts of tampering with a motor vehicle, possessing a Schedule II drug, and driving with a suspended license, the town news release said.

The news release said the charges stemmed from incidents that occurred between May 1 and June 1 in Christiansburg and Blacksburg.

Investigators continue to look for related incidents and ask residents of Christiansburg, Blacksburg or Montgomery County who have suffered a recent theft to call the Christiansburg Police Department at 382-3131, ext. 316.
