Despite a lackluster first half, Virginia Tech outscored Furman 21-3 in the final 30 minutes to win the game 24-17 in Blacksburg. The Hokies were led by Keshawn King's 135 all-purpose yards and Tre Turner's two touchdowns. 

Defensively, Tech had four sacks, two caused turnovers, and held the Paladins to 231 total yards.
