Photos: Breckinridge Middle holds meet-and-greet for incoming teachers
James Breckinridge Middle School held a meet-and-greet for veteran educators and new teachers. In one-on-one discussions with the newcomers, the teachers got to know one another and share advice.
Breckinridge Middle is the most crowded school in the city. Last fall’s enrollment was 674, or 44 students over capacity. Roanoke school administrators had to install a modular building next to the school to provide more classroom space.
