The Community Foundation of the New River Valley knows that the NRV is a wonderful place to live, work and play. We also know that our region's success relies on having individuals, families and businesses that are healthy, happy and connected to one another. Our community health needs assessment tells us that factors like transportation, safe housing and knowledge of services affect our region's overall health and well-being. To address these factors we have to think creatively about coordinating resources and investing in solutions that will support our region's workforce now and in the future. Join us for a conversation about the challenges and opportunities we have to improve well-being in the New River Valley. During this interactive session you will:

• Explore the findings of the most recent NRV Community Health Assessment and how specific factors affecting health and wellness in our community relate to your work.

• Learn about how other Virginia communities have made strategic investments to address the needs identified in their health assessments.

• Contribute your ideas, experiences, and energy to improve health and wellbeing in the NRV.
