Roanoke's CoLab is launching two new boards.
Brad Stephens became the director of the Grandin Village co-working space, replacing outgoing director Ariel Lev, on Feb. 1. In an email, he said that to help facilitate the growth that is going on at the CoLab, and to maintain or improve the experience of working there, two new boards are being formed. The first will be an advisory board of nonmembers to help develop a vision for the organization. Those spots will be appointed.
A member board that will provide guidance on decisions is also being launched. The CoLab is accepting nominations and suggestions for the board; any members interested in a spot on the board must fill out a questionnaire by Monday. Once those are collected, the membership will vote on the representatives.
The CoLab has about 160 members.
