Radford University hires 2 fundraisers
Radford University has hired a director and assistant director for its office of university advancement.
Maq Trivedi will be the director and have fundraising responsibility for Northern Virginia and the Washington, D.C., area. According to a university news release, Trivedi has significant volunteer experience as a fundraiser and has worked in the mortgage business.
He recently moved to Radford from Chicago.
Meredith Marks will be the assistant director and will be responsible for raising money in far Southwest Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. A graduate of Washington and Lee University and the College of Charleston School of Law, Marks comes to the university from New York, where she worked and volunteered with the Robin Hood Foundation, a nonprofit that funds antipoverty programs in New York City.
