State police and Virginia Tech officials confirmed this afternoon that they've decided to hold a news conference Friday to update the investigation of Seung-Hui Cho and the April 16 shootings on the Tech campus. The news conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at the Wyndham Roanoke Hotel.
