Free Short-term trauma counseling will be available through the Counseling Department of Family Service of Roanoke Valley from now through April 27. Family Service will staff additional counselors specially trained in critical-incident counseling. The office, at 360 Campbell Ave. in downtown Roanoke, will be open between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
