The Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Nas and Phil Vassar will perform Sept. 6 at Virginia Tech's Lane Stadium in a private event to help university community “move forward in the aftermath of the April tragedy,” the university announced this morning. 

Virginia Tech students and employees can get a single free ticket and apply to be eligible to buy an additional ticket. Former students who graduated earlier this year can also get a free ticket and apply to buy another. 

Tickets are not being made available to the general public at this time.
