On the edge Thoughts on ....
As opposed to ranting, I am going to rave. Yes, sometimes life is ugly and unfair. However, I feel that it is necessary to highlight some of the things that I find to be beautiful in this life, in a slightly particular order. I want to start by recognizing food, which has never failed to provide me with comfort and satisfaction, apart from the few times that it has temporarily poisoned me. Next, I would like to give thanks for my family. Their constant love, devotion and adoration is faintly exasperating, yet means so much to me. Third, I would like to praise the creator of the majestic animals on Earth, especially for my cat Daisy. Finally, I am grateful for Hugh Laurie, who has presented me with the epitome of inspiration. I someday aspire to be as successful and witty as his character on "House M.D."
