The ACC announced Monday that Virginia Tech’s Nov. 24 game at Virginia will air at noon on either ESPN or ESPN2.
The game will get national exposure, which it would not have received if it had been chosen for one of ABC’s 3:30 p.m. regional slots. The game also did not chosen for an evening slot on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
The winner of the game between the 10th-ranked Hokies (8-2, 5-1) and the No. 16 Cavaliers (9-2, 6-1) will claim the Coastal Division crown and play in the ACC title game on Dec. 1 in Jacksonville, Fla.
This is the third straight year the rivals will meet at noon.
