2011 College football preview guide

The University of Virginia reported on its athletic Web site Wednesday that new football coach Mike London is "likely" to bring three of his former University of Richmond assistants to Charlottesville.

That group would include former UVa graduate assistant Vincent Brown, who coached the Spiders' linebackers; defensive-line coach Jeff Hanson, and offensive coordinator Mike Faragalli.

It is not clear if Faragalli, who was the offensive coordinator for three teams in the Canadian Football League, would become the Cavaliers' offensive coordinator. Ironically, he had two separate coaching stints at Bowling Green, former coaching home of 2009 UVa offensive coordinator Gregg Brandon.

Secondary coach Anthony Poindexter is the only assistant off Al Groh's staff who definitely will be retained in a full-time coaching capacity.
