Brosius passed for 2,437 yards and 27 touchdowns as a junior. He also had scholarship offers from Maryland and Pittsburgh, according to rivals.com.
Receivers coach Wayne Lineburg was the lead recruiter for Brosius, whose school is located in western North Carolina, 65 miles from Knoxville, Tenn.
