Justin Renfrow, a 6-foot-4, 270-pound defensive tackle from Philadelphia, has become the 17th football player to commit to Virginia for 2009.
Renfrow plays for William Penn Charter, alma mater of the Cavaliers’ three-time All-ACC basketball player, Sean Singletary.
Renfrow told rivals.com that he had offers from North Carolina, West Virginia, Stanford and Connecticut.
