Virginia athletic director Craig Littlepage indicated that he has reprimanded men’s basketball assistant Drew Diener for selling his tickets to the UVa-Virginia Tech football game over the Internet.

“The situation you reference is an internal administrative matter,” Littlepage said in response to an e-mail. “It has been addressed with the individual involved and handled in a manner we feel is appropriate.

“There will be no additional public comment concerning the situation.”

Diener was unable to attend the football game because he was in Philadelphia, where the UVa men’s basketball team had games Friday and Saturday.
