Motor Mile Speedway: Dean earns win No. 1, splits with Morris

RADFORD -- Philip Morris and Brandon Dean managed to pull off a flip-flop at Motor Mile Speedway on Sunday.

Morris won the first of a pair of 100-lap Late Model Stocks races, followed by Dean in second place.

In the second of the two races it was Dean, who is second in the points standings, that earned his first career win at the track with Morris as the runner-up.

Mike Looney and Tommy Lemons Jr. each netted a pair of top-5 finishes as well.

In the first race, Looney finished in third place, Nate Monteith was fourth and Lemons finished fifth.

In the second race, points leader Wayne Ramsey was third, followed by Looney in fourth and Lemons in fifth again.

Anthony Barnes won the Limited Sportsman race.

Matt Taylor finished in second place and Justin Snow took third.

Andy Schack won the Street Stock race, followed by Barry Gregory and Brent Bell.

In the Mod-4 division it was Wayne Corprew coming away with the checkered flag.

Lee Bradley was second and Robert Cox was third.
