Fantasy football forecaster
By this point in the season, you should have a pretty good idea of what kind of team you have.
Do you pretty much leave it alone every week, or do you constantly have to tinker, trying to pick up players off of the waiver wire and sub them in?
I've got one of each of those teams, and to be honest, the one I have to fool around with every week is my favorite one.
You've really got to take some chances when you're fantasy team isn't full of studs.
So this week, that is my focus.
Some of these guys you may not have heard of, and others may just be looking for bounce-back games.
Either way, remember I was talking about taking chances. If you have Drew Brees, don't sit him because you felt like spicing things up.
You're better than that.
On to Week 10.
Quarterbacks
Matt Ryan, Falcons
Carolina's defense isn't that imposing and should be keying on Michael Turner which could open things up for Ryan.
Kyle Orton, Broncos
I think the Redskins will try to force Denver to beat them with the pass, and Washington's secondary is a little depleted.
Running backs
Ladell Betts, Redskins
Clinton Portis is out and Betts provided a real spark against the Falcons last week. He's a decent play here if he's healthy.
Marshawn Lynch, Bills
Bills-Titans isn't exactly a marquee matchup, but there should be some running involved.
Wide receivers
Percy Harvin, Vikings
Because he's good and the Lions aren't. That was easy.
Pierre Garcon, Colts
In the game of the week (Patriots-Colts) I expect every receiver on both teams to get some opportunities. Plus, I like rooting for guys that came from D-III colleges (Mount Union).
Tight ends
Brandon Pettigrew, Lions
Well, just because he doesn't have a football name. Pettigrew sounds like something from Harry Potter doesn't it?
Joey Haynos, Dolphins
I'm picking the former Terp because I'm a Maryland fan. It's not like actual reasoning has boded well for my tight end picks anyway.
Kickers and defense
As for a kicker, I'll pick Rob Bironas of Tennessee.
For defense, I think the Cardinals are worth a play against Seattle.
Last week
Hits: Jay Cutler, Matt Hasselbeck, Pierre Thomas, Joseph Addai, Donald Driver, Vincent Jackson.
Misses: Fred Davis, Bo Scaife, 49ers defense.
So-so: Matt Prater.
