BEDFORD — Katie Martin had six kills and an ace and Audrey McCombs handed out 12 assists and two aces but the Minettes lost two close games to start the match and couldn’t recover, losing in three. MaHalea Scicchitano chipped in 12 digs and two aces and Casey Carr added 10 digs and two aces for Liberty (1-1).

Maria Jones recorded a team-high eight aces to help the Eagles (5-0, 3-0) defeat the Knights (1-1, 0-1) in straight games. Emily Conner logged seven kills and added two aces. Haley Stump had a team-high eight kills in the victory.
