Player of the Year
KIM SHAVER | Blacksburg | Senior
SHAVER was named first-team All-Group AA after leading Blacksburg to a 17-4 record and a berth in the Group AA semifinals where the Bruins lost 1-0 to Briar Woods. Shaver played a defensive midfield position and finished the season with four goals and six assists. She was the River Ridge District and Region IV player of the year and was named her school's top female athlete. Shaver signed with UNC Greensboro.

Eschenmann steered Blacksburg to a Group AA quarterfinal victory at Jefferson Forest after the Bruins lost the Region IV final to Salem. Blacksburg won the River Ridge District title with a 9-1 record.
