LYNCHBURG — E.C. Glass (18-1) made short work of Blacksburg by winning all five singles matches on their home courts on the way to topping the Bruins 5-0 on Tuesday to advance to the Group AA boys tennis semifinals.

Nick Daly of Glass led the way at No. 2 singles with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Nicholas Elvinger.

LYNCHBURG – The reigning Group AA champions improved to 20-0 although the Hilltoppers needed to win a doubles match to close out the victory.

Emily Henderson of Abingdon won the No. 1 singles match 6-4, 6-2 over Sydney Moon.
