Rockbridge County 12, Robert E. Lee 2
STAUNTON - Colter Bennett went 2 for 4 with four RBIs, including a triple and a double, as the Wildcats scored six runs at the top of the sixth, defeating the Leemen in six innings because of the 10-run rule.
Mark Shaner struck out eight, gave up five hits and walked two in five innings for Rockbridge County (2-0). Ryan Coale went 3 for 4 with an RBI and a stolen base. Coale also pitched the last inning in relief and struck out the side to close out the game. Daniel Trout went 2 for 3 with two stolen bases, and teammate Andrew Bolen went 2 for 4 with an RBI, including a double.
Robert E. Lee's (1-2) Tyler Zombro had a single and two RBIs.
Parkway Christian 3, Roanoke Valley Christian 2
Tyler Viette hit a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to give Parkway Christian a win over visiting Roanoke Valley Christian.
Viette finished the day with three hits and two RBI and Brandon Jennings struck out five over three innings in the win.
Noah Overstreet drove in a run and scored, and also pitched two innings in relief for the loss.
Chilhowie 5, Volunteer 4, 8 innings
CHURCH HILL, Tenn. - Down 4-1 going into the bottom of the seventh, Volunteer (1-5) mounted a comeback and tied the game to send it into extras.
For Chilhowie (2-1), Tyler Pierce had two hits, Dustin Creasy had two hits, and T.J. Lewis had two hits including the game-winning RBI.
Craig County 17, Martinsville 2
NEW CASTLE - Melia Hutton hit a pair of two-run home runs to help Craig County to a five-inning win over Martinsville.
Jordyn Frango added a three-run homer and finished with five RBIs and Ashley Dudding added two RBIs for the Rockets (2-2).
Tatyana McKenzie had a single for Martinsville (0-3) and pitched five innings, striking out three.
Morgan Sowers earned the win with nine strikeouts, while allowing two hits and three walks over five innings.
Parry McCluer 15, Eastern Montgomery 0
ELLISTON - Meagan Harmon had recorded 10 strikeouts for the Fighting Blues as they defeated Eastern Montgomery (1-2).
Also for Parry McCluer (2-0), Kristina VanBrocklin, Mackenzie Wheeler, Lexy Johnson and Logan Buzzard all had two hits.
For Eastern Montgomery, Chloe Phoenix had a double.
Roanoke Valley Christian 3, SWVA Home School 2
Naomi Elliott scored on a free kick by A.J. Clay in the first overtime to give Roanoke Valley Christian (2-1, 1-1) a home win over Southwest Virginia Home School.
Allyson Goad and Beth Snyder scored a goal each for Roanoke Valley Christian. Lillian Smith scored both of the goals for the Conquerors, including the game-tying goal with five minutes left in regulation.
Lainey Register made 18 saves in net for Roanoke Valley Christian.
James River 5, Glenvar 0
BUCHANAN - Kendall Moyer scored two goals Wednesday to lead the Knights (2-2) to a win.

STAUNTON - Ely Spencer had two goals for the visiting Wildcats (1-1) as they routed the Leemen (0-1).
Eliot Alford and Kevin Landeros had one goal and one assist each for Rockbridge County. Abe Schroeder had one goal.
Jefferson Forest 1, Brookville 0
FOREST - Bart Sap scored a goal seven minutes into the second half to lead Jefferson Forest over Brookville (0-2, 0-1). The low-scoring game was controlled by Jefferson Forest's goalie Kris Palazzi, who had six saves. The Bees fell to 0-2 and 0-1 in the Seminole District.
Martinsville 4, Halifax County 2
MARTINSVILLE - Lead by Kyle Hathaway's two goals the Bulldogs (1-2-1) defeated Halifax (0-3). Also scoring for Martinsville were Jordan Philpott, Zim Bela, and Tommy O'Neil, who all had one.
North Cross 6, Cave Spring 4
Chris Pollock and Max Revercomb had two goals each for the Raiders as they recovered from a 3-1 deficit at the half to win over the Knights.
Penn Draper and Tyler Quinn had one goal each for North Cross (2-1). Kyler Steman had six saves.
Cave Spring's (1-2) Nick Bondurant had three goals and teammate Alex Line had one. Bren Huggins had 10 saves.
Hidden Valley 19, William Byrd 4
Callie Gregg scored five goals to lead the Titans over the Terriers. Teammates Faith McGuirt and Michelle Hedrick each scored three goals as Claudia Desimone scored one. Goalie Jenna Graves recorded seven saves.
For the Terriers, Rachel Eberhardt, Paige Barksdale, Chloe Brown and Alexis Lucas each scored a goal.
