High school roundup: Dayspring advances to VACA title game

DANVILLE - Peyton Bailey led all scorers with 16 points, and Joel Vest added 11 points and three steals, as the Dayspring Christian boys defeated Parkway Christian 46-36.
Dayspring Christian will play in the VACA state final game today in Danville.
Lawrence Huff scored 10 points for Parkway Christian.

DANVILLE - Tatyana Crowder scored 29 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead Parkway Christian past Stuart Hall and into the finals of the VACA tournament.
Parkway Christian held Katie Hoover to 10 points and used a full-court press to limit Stuart Hall's success.
Charlotte Hereford led Stuart Hall with 12.
Parkway will face Shenandoah Valley Christian in the final at 2 p.m. today.
