Blankenship shines, but Auburn loses 1st game

CHRISTIANSBURG -- Christiansburg defeated Auburn 76-64 on Tuesday night, handing Auburn its first loss of the season despite a game-high 21 points from Zac Blankenship.
Patrick Cummings scored 16 points and added 11 rebounds for Christiansburg, which won for the first time this season. Chris Dobbins chipped in 14 points for the Blue Demons. Bradley Jones had 15 points for Auburn.
