Giles boys get win on last shot
NARROWS -- Justin Gautier made a buzzer-beating back-to-the-basket shot to give Giles 59-57 road victory over Narrows on Friday night.
With 18 seconds to play, Gautier made the first of two free throws to tie the score at 57. He missed the second, but Giles grabbed the offensive rebound.
With less than five seconds to play, Travis Robertson missed a 15-foot jumper, but Gautier grabbed the rebound and made the game-winning shot as the buzzer sounded.
Caleb Tilley and Cody Williams each scored 12 for Giles, while Mark Martin's 12 points led Narrows.

The Patriots went 12-for-16 from 3-point range, getting four three off the bench from B.J. Hamlett. Hamlett led all scorers with 16 points. Ronnie Thomas added 13 points for Patrick Henry.
Leading by three heading into the fourth quarter, the Patriots extended their lead to as many as eight points. Patrick Henry went 10-for-14 from the free-throw line in the fourth quarter.
