Football playoffs: Marion eliminated

RICHLANDS -- Cody Johnson completed 11 of 16 passes for 174 yards and three touchdowns with one interception to lead Richlands to a 31-10 win over Marion in the Region IV Division 3 playoffs.
Bradley Strong had three catches for 81 yards and two TDs for Richlands (10-1), which will seek its sixth straight regional title next week at Cave Spring.
Matt Noe threw a TD pass for Marion (8-4).

DAMASCUS -- John Pratt threw for two touchdowns and ran for another to lead the Cavaliers to victory in the Region C Division 1 playoffs.
Dillon DeArmond scored two touchdowns for Holston (10-1), which will play Bath County next week.
Rural Retreat (4-8) was held to 84 yards of total offense and committed four turnovers. Holston had 388 yards of total offense.
