FOOTBALL
PLAYOFF GAMES RESCHEDULED
William Fleming's Northwest Region Division 5 playoff game at Brooke Point scheduled for today has been postponed by rain.
The game has been rescheduled for 3:30 p.m. Saturday at a new location, Liberty-Bealeton High School, which has an artificial playing surface.
Franklin County's Division 6 playoff game at Colonial Forge was also rescheduled for Saturday at Liberty-Bealeton, and will begin at noon. A third game also will be played Saturday at Liberty-Bealeton between George Washington and Osbourn.
The Region C Division 2 playoff game between Giles and host Radford has been moved from today to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Alleghany's Region III Division 3 playoff game against Brookville will be played tonight as scheduled, but the game has been moved to Amherst County High School.

Radford def. Chilhowie 19-25, 25-12, 25-12, 25-17.
CHILHOWIE -- Maryah Sydnor had 19 kills and six blocks to lead the Bobcats to victory Thursday in the first round of the Region C tournament.
Lindsey Smith had 36 assists for the Bobcats (16-7), while Haley Dietz added 12 kills and Blair Holbrook 21 digs.
Krystal Patton had 24 kills and nine digs for Chilhowie.
