PEARISBURG -- Maryah Sydnor had 14 kills, 10 blocks and 21 digs as Radford (14-6) rallied past Glenvar (15-6) to clinch a berth in the Region C tournament.
The Highlanders will play Auburn at 6:30 tonight in the district final.
Auburn def. Floyd County 25-12, 25-18, 25-13.
PEARISBURG -- Haley Shepherd had 33 assists and Jordan Watson added 10 kills and three blocks.
Southwest District
Carroll County def. Richlands 25-11, 25-20, 25-16.
Dionna Reece had 13 kills and six digs to lead Carroll County (20-1). The Cavaliers will play in the finals today at 7:30 p.m. against Tazewell, which beat Marion in the other semifinal.
Pioneer District
Parry McCluer def. James River 25-21, 21-25, 20-25, 25-22, 16-14.
HOT SPRINGS -- The Fighting Blues advanced to the district championship. Taylor Statome totaled 31 assists for James River. Maribeth Kern added 20 kills.
