VOLLEYBALL

Seminole District

Jefferson Forest def. Rustburg 25-13, 25-13, 25-15.

FOREST -- Kelsey Stapleton had nine kills to lead Jefferson Forest (5-2, 1-1).

Lindsey Smith had seven kills and three aces, Megan Prothero totalled 16 digs and Brittany McCormick had three kills and three blocks.

E.C. Glass def. Liberty 25-16, 25-6, 25-17.

LYNCHBURG -- Kasey Bond totaled five kills and nine digs for Liberty (0-6, 0-3) in the loss.

Lexie Kiely totaled three kills and Hannah Martin added 10 assists and 10 digs. E.C. Glass remains unbeaten at 5-0, 3-0.

Mountain Empire District

Galax def. Narrows 25-18, 25-13, 26-24.

NARROWS -- Allison White had 13 kills and three blocks, and Jenna White added 15 assists to lead Galax.

Drew Cardwell added 10 service points, and Bailey Shumate had 10 digs.

Narrows (5-4, 0-1) was led by Savannah Burton with 12 kills and two blocks. Abby Davis had five kills and Brianna Ogden had 22 assists.

Southwest District

Carroll County def. Marion 25-14, 25-14, 20-25, 25-15.

MARION -- Maleah Neely had 10 kills, two blocks and 20 assists to lead Carroll County (7-1, 1-0).

Dionna Reece finished with 16 kills and three blocks, and Kim Marshall had 15 assists and 20 service points.

Elizabeth Rakes led Marion (3-6, 1-1) with seven blocks. Taloni Dalton added four kills, 11 digs.

Nondistrict

Hidden Valley def. William Byrd 25-18, 25-16, 25-16.

Samantha Ringer had eight kills and 14 assists to lead Hidden Valley (8-0), while Liz Burke added eight kills and Kim McDow totaled 15 digs.

Kayln Molnar had 30 digs and three kills to lead William Byrd (1-6). Ashley Minton added 11 digs.

Sierra Spain totaled five assists and seven digs, Candace Brady had seven assists and five digs and Macie Hovack notched nine kills.

Cave Spring def. Patrick Henry 25-12, 25-18, 25-22.

Morgan Shannon led Cave Spring (4-2) with eight kills, Rebekah Henderson served four aces, and Jocelyn Kellinger had 18 digs.

Radford def. Pulaski Co. 25-19, 25-12, 25-16.

DUBLIN -- Maryah Sydnor tallied 17 kills, 10 blocks and 12 digs to lead Radford (5-2). Haley Dietz added 19 digs and 10 kills and Blair Holbrook contributed 24 digs.

Blacksburg def. Northside 25-12, 25-21, 25-13.

BLACKSBURG -- Katy Kipps had 20 kills and six blocks to lead the Bruins (5-1). Lindsey Henderson added 26 assists and Lacy McMahon had 10 digs for Blacksburg.

Kathleen Carr had five kills for Northside (3-9). RuthAnn Wilburne had 11 assists and Samantha Nguyen finished with 14 digs.

James River def. Alleghany 25-13, 25-22, 25-17.

LOW MOOR -- Maribeth Kern had seven kills, four digs, three blocks and three aces to lead the Knights (5-3). Rene Smith served the last nine points of the final game to clinch the win.

Taylor Statome added six digs and 24 assists for James River and Conner Sprinkle had eight digs, two kills and four aces.

Alleghany's Emily Lewis served five straight points in the first game, and Alex Chrisco had the last six service points in the third game.

Roanoke Catholic def. Grace Christian 25-22, 20-25, 13-25, 25-15, 17-15.

STAUNTON -- Ava Perez amassed 37 assists, three kills, three aces and five digs to lead Roanoke Catholic (11-3, 1-1).

Aidan Guilfoyle totalled 19 kills, one ace, 12 digs and one block. Mairin Guilfoyle added 12 kills, three aces and 15 digs and Mary Weatherman had 17 digs and five aces.

Auburn def. G. Wythe 25-19, 25-10, 25-18.

WYTHEVILLE -- Haley Shepherd led Auburn (5-1) with 25 assists and six aces, while Jordan Watson notched 11 kills and six digs.

Jordan Link served six aces, and Holly Saul had nine digs. Carls Suthers had 11 assists for George Wythe (0-7), while Chelsey Corvin had five kills, Chelsey Hodge had three kills and Kelsey Marrs served three aces.

Patrick County def. Westover Christian 25-14, 25-8, 21-25, 25-20.

DANVILLE -- Lizzy Leeper had 23 points, 10 kills and seven aces for Patrick County (5-3).

Casey Bradshaw had 41 assists, 14 points and six digs, Olivia Triplett had 17 kills and Kylnen Culler had 14 kills, eight blocks and nine digs.

Covington def. Ridgeview Ch., 25-12, 25-12. 

COVINGTON -- The Cougars (2-2) swept a pair of best-of-three matches.

Dayline Tyree had 17 assists and 14 service points to lead Covington. Larissa Moore had six kills, while Melissa Carroll and Shanna Woodward had five kills apiece.

Rural Retreat def. Grayson County 25-13, 25-8, 25-8.

RURAL RETREAT -- Laura Stamper hit nine aces for Rural Retreat (7-2). Jenna Dix had 14 kills, Meghan Umberger added five kills and Erin Worrell notched 12 assists.

Parry McCluer def. Eastern Montgomery 25-20, 25-15, 25-21.

Virginia Independent Conference

North Cross 5, Hargrave Military 0

Gavin Hollingsworth led North Cross (4-3-1, 2-1-1) with two goals. Chris Pollock, Will Stephenson and Vinsu Maharaj each scored one.

Jerome Hairston had three assists.
