Christiansburg 4th at Clash National Duals
ROCHESTER, Minn. — Devin Carter and Jon Weber both finished 6-0 at a two-day wrestling tournament to lead Christiansburg to a fourth-place finish at the Clash National Duals on Friday and Saturday.
Brady Epperly finished 5-1, Phillip Dowdy, James Linkous, Derek Woody and Braden Carter all went 4-2 and Luke Rakes and David Cheney went 3-3.
Christiansburg didn’t lose on the first day.
The Blue Demons defeated Plainview-Elgin-Millville 38-24, High Point Regional 49-19 and Hastings 28-27.
On the second day Christiansburg fell to Apple Valley 40-19, beat Simley 29-25 and lost to Ballard Huxley 45-19.
Up next for Christiansburg is the Virginia Duals on Friday and Saturday.
