Lord Botetourt to face Staunton River in final
Alisha Lyle scored a game-high 17 points to give Lord Botetourt a 65-45 win over Salem on Monday night in the semifinals of the Lady Terriers Christmas Classic at William Byrd High School.
MacKenzie Tyree chipped in 11 points for the Cavaliers (7-4), who wore the Spartans (5-2) down with with solid post play and good passing.
Bre Kawa scored 12 points to lead a balanced Salem attack.
Lord Botetourt will face Staunton River in tonight's championship game, while Salem will face Cave Spring.

Shaneisha Robinson netted 14 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as the Golden Eagles (6-2) coasted to the finals.
Monica Boatwright led Cave Spring (2-6) with seven points.
After falling behind 10-6 in the first quarter, Staunton River switched to a full-court press and held the Knights to just nine points the rest of the way.
