WILLIAMSBURG -- A month after winning the Roanoke Valley Match Play crown, Justin Young will be chasing another major title today in the final day of the VSGA Public Links Championship.
Young, 35, won a pair of close matches Saturday to advance to this morning's semifinals against defending champion Jon Hurst of Fredericksburg.
Arlington's Jimmy Delp, the 2009 winner, will face Virginia Beach's Ryan Nolan in the other semifinal. The two winners will play for the title this afternoon.
Young edged northern Virginian Jeffrey Klatt 2 and 1 in the Saturday's first round and then rallied from a three-hole deficit to clip 2005 champion Jason Copeland of Virginia Beach 1-up to advance.
