Forest's Zach Bauchou was eliminated in the round of 16 at the the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship at Martis Camp Club in Truckee, Calif, on Saturday.

After two lengthy rain delays, Zecheng Dou of China knocked in back-to-back birdies on the 14th and 15th holes to take charge of a square match and held on to be Bauchou 2 and 1.

Bauchou made it to the afternoon round after he recorded two birdies and an eagle in a three-hole span to defeat Sahith Theegala in the second round of match play on Thursday morning.

Bauchou was 1-down entering the par-3 14th hole, which he birdied to get to all squared. He birdied the par-5 15th to take a 1-up lead before eagling the par-4 16th to go 2-up.
