Ferrum's Kailtyn Culler, a Patrick County High School graduate, was named the USA South softball pitcher of the year Wednesday.
The league handed out its softball, baseball and women's lacrosse honors Wednesday.
Culler, a senior, is 13-2.
Ferrum's Vickie Van Kleeck, whose 30-8 team will be the top seed in this weekend's USA South softball tournament, was named the coach of the year for the first time.
Culler was joined on the All-USA South first team by Ferrum outfielder Rachel Shumaker. Ferrum's Suzanne Plasters (Patrick County) made the second team, with Aiyana Lew on the third team.
In baseball, the first team included Ferrum catcher Wes Walker. Ferrum's Eddie McGrath made the second team, with Hank Parsley on the third team.
In lacrosse, the first team included Ferrum's Brooke Hewartson, Sydney Hewartson and Caila Cummings. Arielle Boyd and Amanda Cheney made the second team.
