Harrison top seed in NCAAs
Virginia Tech senior Queen Harrison will be the top seed in the 60-meter hurdles at the NCAA Division I championships, which will be held Friday and Saturday at Arkansas.
Harrison, a 2008 Olympian, has the best time in the nation this season at 7.94 seconds, which was her winning time at the ACC championships.
A total of 10 Hokies and two Cavaliers earned bids to the meet.

G. Mason 9, Radford 5
George Mason hit three home runs and built a 6-0 lead through three innings in a victory over Radford (3-7) at Salem Memorial Ballpark.
Virginia Tech 5, Bryant 4
BLACKSBURG -- Steve Domecus' two-run home run in the eighth inning powered the Hokies (9-2) to their ninth straight victory, which marks the longest winning streak since winning 14 straight in 1999.

UVa's Kohles wins event
AIKEN, S.C. -- Virginia sophomore Ben Kohles shot a 5-under 205 to take medalist honors Tuesday at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate. Virginia placed fifth out of 18 teams.
MEN'S LACROSSE
Virginia 20, VMI 6
CHARLOTTESVILLE -- Fourteen different players scored goals for No. 1 Virginia (5-0), led by four each from Matt White and Chris Bocklet. VMI fell to 2-4.
WOMEN'S LACROSSE

SWEETBRIAR, Va. -- Nine different players scored for the Generals (3-2, 2-0 ODAC).
SOFTBALL
Longwood 5-1, UVa 3-0
FARMVILLE, Va. -- In the first game of the double header sweep by host Longwood, the Cavaliers (8-9) failed to hold a 2-0 lead as the Lancers rallied for a three-run fourth inning en route to the victory. Sarah Tacke homered for UVA. The Cavaliers managed just two hits in the second game.
Radford splits two
CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Radford (5-7) split two games Tuesday, defeating Boston University 10-8 before falling to Ball State, 7-1.
