ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Matt Dickey scored 26 points and led five players in double figures in UNC Asheville's 92-84 win over Radford on Sunday.

Jaron Lane added 17 points, J.P. Primm 15, John Williams 13 and Chris Stephenson 10 as the Bulldogs (10-12, 7-4 Big South) won their seventh straight and snapped a five-game losing streak to Radford (11-10, 7-4).

Primm also had eight assists for UNC Asheville, which had 23 assists and 13 turnovers.

Trailing 9-7 early, UNC Asheville went on a 13-1 run to lead 20-10 on Lane's tip-in with 9:57 left in the first half. The Bulldogs didn't trail the rest of the way.

Art Parakhouski had 12 points and 15 rebounds, and Joey Lynch-Flohr added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Highlanders. Amir Johnson also scored 18 points, Lazar Trifunovic 16 and Blake Smith 15 for Radford.

Clemson 62, Maryland 53

CLEMSON, S.C. -- Trevor Booker shook off missing his first 12 shots to score nine of his 10 points down the stretch as Clemson broke a three-game losing streak with a victory over Maryland.

Booker was the ACC's leader in field goal percentage last season, but could not find the basket for most of this one. He came through, though, when the Tigers (16-6, 4-4 ACC) needed it most.

Booker hit a short jumper to tie things at 48-all, then put Clemson up for good, 52-50, with two foul shots.

He followed two minutes later with a 3-pointer -- his first in nine games -- that pushed Clemson's lead to 57-53 with 3:23 left.

Maryland (14-6, 4-2), which had been the ACC's only one-loss team coming in, did not score the rest of the way.

Jerai Grant had a career high 18 points along with 10 rebounds for the Tigers. Booker had 16 boards.

Jordan Williams had 13 points and 13 rebounds to lead Maryland, which has lost its last three to Clemson.

Greivis Vazsquez, Maryland's leading scorer averaging almost 18 points, was off his game as well, going 3-of-11 from the floor and ending with 10 points.

The Tigers played without point guard Demontez Stitt, who missed his second straight game with a foot injury.

Clemson was in danger of its longest ACC losing streak in three years. And it didn't help when Stitt walked out in street clothes as his teammates warmed up.

Without Stitt, the Tigers fell behind by 20 points at Boston College and lost 75-68.

This time, Stitt and Tigers fans enjoyed what they saw early as Clemson broke to a 13-4 lead, capped by Grant's jam and Andre Young's 3-pointer.

Maryland coach Gary Williams, his face already crimson with frustration, snapped for a timeout. Something he said worked because Maryland held the Tigers to 1-of-13 shooting over the next nine minutes to get back in it.

Vasquez's only first-half points came off a steal and breakaway layup to tie things at 16-all.

Then it was Maryland's turn to go cold, finishing the half just 3-of-9 to fall behind 29-22 at the break.

Clemson built its lead with Booker having a horrible half. The senior missed all eight of his shots and finished with one point.

Lynchburg 87, Roanoke 76

LYNCHBURG -- Steven Echols scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Hornets past the Maroons in an ODAC contest.

Echols was 10-of-11 from the free-throw line and doled out seven assists for Lynchburg (9-10, 4-6), which also got 18 points and 10 rebounds from Nathan Campbell.

Roanoke rallied from an 18-point second-half deficit to cut the lead to seven. The Maroons (6-14, 3-8) were led by Matt Crizer's 16 points. He added six rebounds and three steals. Kendrick Chittock scored 13 points, while Corey Poindexter chipped in 10.

WOMEN

Wake Forest 64, No. 21 Virginia 57

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. --Sandra Garcia scored 21 points and made three clutch free throws to help the Demon Deacons upset the Cavaliers.

Secily Ray added 14 points for the Demon Deacons (12-9, 4-3 ACC).

They led for the entire second half, held Virginia star Monica Wright to two points in the final 20 minutes and made 8 of 10 free throws in the final 38 seconds to beat a ranked team for the second time in 15 days.

Wake Forest improved to 3-60 against the Cavaliers, beating them for the first time since 2003.

Lexie Gerson scored 15 points, Ariana Moorer had 14 and Wright finished with 13 for the Cavaliers (15-6, 4-3).

The Cavaliers made it a one-possession game on Moorer's layup with 31.2 seconds left, but came up empty on their next two possessions while Wake Forest pulled away by hitting 5 of 6 free throws.

Roanoke 69, Hollins 44

Kylie Lucas scored 12 points and the Maroons used an 11-2 run in the second half to pull away from Hollins in ODAC action.

Jordan Gholson scored 11 points and had eight rebounds for the Maroons. Nicci Moats had nine points and a game-high 10 rebounds.

Roanoke (16-2, 13-1) outscored Hollins 35-0 off the bench, and had 28 points off of turnovers.

Jasmine Greene led all scorers with 25 points for Hollins (1-18, 0-13), hitting all six of her free throws. She added seven rebounds and a game-best five steals. Tamara Phillips had 11 points and four steals.
