WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- David Schneider had 16 points, including sinking seven free throws in the final 35 seconds, and William & Mary held on to beat Wake Forest 78-68 on Saturday night.
The Tribe (4-2) scored all of its final 18 points from the foul line during the game's final 2:24 to seal the win.
Danny Sumner also scored 16 for the Tribe, which last beat a current Atlantic Coast Conference team five years ago. That 60-52 victory came on Dec. 7, 2002, at home against Virginia Tech, then a member of the Big East.
It has been 25 years since they beat an opponent in the ACC, taking a 54-53 victory over Virginia on Dec. 5, 1984.
Boston College 82, Providence 77
PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Josh Southern scored on a three-point play with 43 seconds left and Boston College withstood Providence's late rally for a win.
Providence led 77-75 with 1 minute to play, but Southern's three-point play proved to be the game winner for Boston College (4-2). Biko Paris and Joe Trapani combined to go 4-for-4 from the free throw line to secure the win.
Miami 70, S.C.-Upstate 41
CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Dwayne Collins scored 17 points as the Hurricanes remained unbeaten in the rout over South Carolina-Upstate.
Miami outscored the Spartans 20-4 and broke the game open during a 7:51 span midway through the first half. Collins scored six points during the spurt and Julian Gamble's field goal with 6:45 remaining capped the run for a 25-11 Hurricanes' lead.

No. 2 Michigan St. 106, Massachusetts 68
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Tom Izzo won his 341st game at Michigan State, setting the school record for victories in the Spartans' win over Massachusetts in the Legends Classic.
Izzo set the record the same week mentor and predecessor Jud Heathcote was inducted into the National Collegiate Hall of Fame.
Chris Allen led the Spartans (5-1) with 18 points.
No. 4 Villanova 81, LaSalle 63
VILLANOVA, Pa. -- Antonio Pena and Scottie Reynolds scored 14 points each, and the Wildcats unnerved city rival LaSalle with its defense in the win.
Corey Fisher added 13 points and six steals and Dominic Cheek had 10 points for the Wildcats (6-0), who have won eight straight over the Explorers and 20 of the last 21 against Big 5 teams, which includes Temple, Saint Joseph's and Penn.
No. 6 Purdue 64, Central Michigan 38
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- E'Twaun Moore scored 15 points and Robbie Hummel had 11 points and 11 rebounds and the Boilermakers beat Central Michigan with defense.
Purdue (5-0) held the Chippewas to four long stretches without a basket, and they shot just 28.3 percent from the field. It was the lowest point total for Central Michigan (2-4) since Ernie Ziegler took over as coach in 2006-07.
UNLV 76, No. 16 Louisville 71
LAS VEGAS -- Oscar Bellfield had 17 points, nine rebounds and six assists to help the Rebels hold off the Cardinals and remain undefeated.
Tre'Von Willis added 16 points for UNLV (5-0), which withstood a 30-11 run by Louisville (4-1) to overcome a 53-34 deficit with 14:05 remaining. The score was tied 64-64 on Rakeem Buckles' basket with 4:24 left, but Bellfield answered with six points to help UNLV hang on.
Edgar Sosa led the Cardinals with 18 points. Samardo Samuels finished with 13 and Buckles had 10 points and 11 rebounds.
No. 17 Ohio State 110, St. Francis, Pa. 47
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Jon Diebler hit five 3-pointers to get No. 17 Ohio State off to a fast start, and the Buckeyes coasted to victory over St. Francis, Pa.
Diebler scored 15 of his 17 points during the quick start, Evan Turner had 16 points to go with eight rebounds and five assists, and center Dallas Lauderdale had one of his most dominant games at Ohio State (5-1).

WASHINGTON -- Jason Clark had a career-high 19 points, freshman Hollis Thompson added 16 and the Hoyas put six players in double-figures scoring against Lafayette.
Chris Wright had 14 points and Greg Monroe finished with 13 points, nine rebounds and six assists for Georgetown (4-0).
Bradley 72, No. 20 Illinois 68
LAS VEGAS -- Andrew Warren scored 16 points, including a go-ahead 3-pointer with 30 seconds left, to lift Bradley to a win over Illinois at the Las Vegas Invitational.
Warren's basket put the Braves up 68-66. Bradley, which had five players in double figures, ended the game on an 11-2 run and went 3-1 in the Invitational.

STEVENSON, Md. -- Parrish Walker led all scorers with 24 points to lead the Maroons (3-1) to a win over Stevenson (0-6).

EMORY -- Senior forward Zach White scored a career-high 27 points as the Generals (3-1, 1-0 ODAC) rallied from a 14-point second-half deficit to defeat Emory & Henry (1-3, 0-1).
