BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- Jaleesa Osborne scored 14 points to lead unbeaten Roanoke College to a 60-49 win over Bridgewater in ODAC women's basketball Tuesday.
Osborne was 7-of-9 from the floor for the Maroons (5-0, 1-0. Erin Jenkins added 10 points and seven rebounds, while Caitlyn Long (Cave Spring) pitched in nine points and handed out eight assists.
Brittani Criss and Jennifer Saunders scored 10 points apiece for the Eagles (1-3, 0-1).
No. 16 Vanderbilt 78, Radford 41
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Jessica Mooney scored 16 points, fellow reserve Chanel Chisolm added 13 and Vanderbilt (7-1) cruised.
Radford (0-6) committed 29 turnovers and made only 13 baskets. Vandy Pullen led the Highlanders with 14 points.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Ryan Ayers was 9-of-14 from 3-point range for a career-high 35 points and Kyle McAlarney was 7-of-13 on 3s for 27 points for Notre Dame.
Ayers tied the Notre Dame record with nine 3s at the Joyce Center.

PHILADELPHIA -- Dante Cunningham had 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Corey Stokes scored 14 points for Villanova (7-0).
Coach Jay Wright defended Villanova's soft nonconference schedule by suggesting games against four Philadelphia schools are almost like playing a Big East school.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Shawn Taggart had 21 points, 13 rebounds and six blocks and freshman Tyreke Evans added 24 points as Memphis dominated every phase of the game.
No. 23 Florida 73, FAMU 58
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Nick Calathes had 16 points, five rebounds and seven assists, Chandler Parsons added 15 points and Florida beat Florida A&M.

MILWAUKEE -- Wesley Matthews scored 18 points and No. 25 Marquette bounced back from its first loss with an aggressive defense that stymied Central Michigan.
Back at home, Marquette (6-1) looked little like the team that got outrun by Dayton in the Chicago Invitational three days earlier.
Southern Virginia 88, W.Va. Tech 71
BUENA VISTA -- Southern Virginia, led by Bryce Pendleton and Dele Opeifa, improved to 4-3.
Pendleton scored 28 points in the Knights' home opener. Opeifa had 21 points and 11 rebounds.
