Clover Hill High School football coach Sean O'Hare said Thursday that Virginia Tech has received a commitment from his school's coveted offensive lineman, 6-foot-6, 305-pound Blake DeChristopher.

O'Hare said DeChristopher had offers from Tech, Virginia, Maryland, Ohio State, North Carolina and North Carolina State.

"He's a dominant player on both sides of the ball," said O'Hare, who expects DeChristopher to play on the offensive line.

DeChristopher is the third player to commit to the Hokies for 2007.
