Region C baseball moved; other Timesland games postponed
The schedule for
today's first-round games in the Region C baseball tournament has been changed
because of weather.
Radford's game at
James River has been moved up to 5:30 p.m. The Covington-Glenvar baseball game,
originally scheduled to be played at Glenvar, has been moved to James River's
field and will start at approximately 8 p.m.
The Northwest Region softball semifinal between Loudoun Valley and Franklin County in Rocky Mount has been postponed until Thursday at 5 p.m.
Hidden Valley's Region IV baseball and softball games have been postponed. The Titans will play Abingdon in a quarterfinal Thursday at 5 p.m. at William Byrd. The Titans' softball game against Abingdon will be played Thursday at 4 p.m. at Hidden Valley. These changes have pushed the Region IV semifinals to Friday and the championship to Saturday.
In Region III baseball, Alleghany's home game with Broadway has been postponed to Thursday at 5 p.m. The Region III semifinals will now be played Friday and the final on Saturday.
In Region III softball, Northside's home game with Brookville has been postponed. No makeup information is available yet.
