Two Virginia men's basketball players remained at home when the Cavaliers left for a three-game exhibition series in Canada, the school announced Friday.

Solomon Tat, a junior from Nigeria, had a visa issue that could not be resolved before the team left the country.

The NCAA Clearinghouse was unable to complete its review of Assane Sene's academic credentials in time to approve his eligibility. Sene, a freshman, is from Senegal.
