Martin will drive No. 5 car for Hendrick

Hendrick Motorsports announced Friday that Mark Martin will drive the No. 5 car team in the NASCAR Sprint Cup series next year.
Martin will run the entire schedule after having run partial schedules this year and last year. Martin will return to a partial schedule in 2010 with Hendrick.
Martin has finished second in the points four times but has never won a Cup title. Next year gives him his last chance to reach that goal, but Martin isn't as worried about that.
"I had a taste of just almost being able to win a race at Phoenix (this year),'' Martin said. "I want to win a race. I want to win another race before I can't anymore. The motivation to really come do this deal was largely based on what that I want to drive something I can win in and I think these guys provide that for me.''
