Former All-Star Frank Howard will be the guest speaker at the Roanoke Valley Sports Club meeting at 5:45 p.m. Monday at the Salem Civic Center.

The ex-outfielder played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Washington Senators, Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers from 1958-73. The former NL rookie of the year hit 382 career homers, and played for the Dodgers’ 1963 World Series championship team.
