FREDERICK, Md. - Brenden Webb recorded two of Frederick's three RBIs with a seventh inning homer to lead the Keys (23-22) over the Salem Red Sox 3-2 on Saturday.
Salem (20-24) led the Keys 1-0 after Red Sox hitter Brandon Jacobs sent Zach Davies' pitch out past left field for a solo home run in the top of the 5th.
Frederick's Travis Adair responded, hitting a homer off Sox pitcher Mike Augliera to tie the score at 1.
Then Brenden Webb hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh to take a 3-1 lead.
Salem added one more run in the ninth inning on a groundout by Jacobs to score Garin Cecchini.
Brandon Jacobs' two RBIs and one run scored led the way for the Sox.
Augliera pitched seven innings, allowing seven hits with two strikeouts and two home runs allowed.
The Red Sox continue their road strech next week, playing one more against Frederick, followed by four games against Potomac.
The team returns home to Salem Memorial Ballpark Friday to face Myrtle Beach.
